We Did It

So Matt and I have been looking at houses for a few weeks and we finally settled on one that we both love. It is here if you want to look at it. I love it! We made an offer on the house today and I really hope that we get it. After they accepted our offer it was taken off the internet.

Never Boring Around Here

I went to Hogle Zoo on Saturday and yes I drove the 3 hours to get there. My car overheated when I got there. As of right now it is still having problems. I drove home on Sunday with the windows open so that the car wouldn't get too hot. I had fun at the zoo but I was preoccupied to really enjoy the animals. I really enjoyed seeing most of my nieces and nephews.

Levi is now 9 months old and I'm posting his 9 month pictures. (note to self get a new camera)

This month Levi:
will crawl on his hands and knees a few times but still prefers to army crawl.
got another tooth on top. That makes 4 teeth total.
Found out that he loves watermelon.
Pulled himself up for the first time to get more watermelon from me.
Will pull himself up to his knees and that's it so far except for that one time.
Met his grandparents' new puppy Toby and wasn't too impressed.
Decided that pureed babyfood isn't for him anymore (he will eat it once in a while) He wants the food we eat.
Has his mom home with him all day long - no more babysitter or school for me for the summer.
Signed "eat" for the first and only time so far when he wanted my ice cream.

His favorites:
peas, KFC chicken, any big people food, anything on the floor that he can put into his mouth. Playing 5 Little Monkeys and singing. Favorite toy is (drum roll) a spoon


His dislikes:
baby food, long car rides, Toby the puppy (for now).

My busy day today

Well today has been very busy. I had my first OB appt for this new pregnancy. It went as well as it could I didn't see the Dr. today though. I'll see him next month. I got my huge packet of info and free baby magazines and the formula gifts (you know the ones I'm talking about they give you a bottle holder and inside is a package or container of formula).

Levi is 9 months old today. I can't believe how big he is getting. He is still a skinny little guy though. Everyone loved him at the Dr's office today. Matt let him crawl around on the floor and Levi came to find me - he started crawling down the hall. I did get the camera batteries charged but I didn't get any pictures yet. I'll post those when I get them.

Matt and I met with our Realtor today and looked at several houses. I really like one of the ones we saw and Matt likes another house. We will have to agree on which house we like the best soon. Levi did really well considering it was almost his bedtime. He was very happy but didn't like getting into his carseat.

Levi update

Levi started singing to us on Saturday night. I was singing to him to get him ready for bed. I sang 3 notes and then stopped because Matt wanted something and Levi was quiet for a few seconds and then he sang those 3 notes back to me. It was so cute.

Levi went to the park for the first time a few weeks ago and he loved the swings. He laughed every time he came closer to me. It was a little chilly so we didn't stay very long.
