Christmas

Santa came to our house and left a farm and stroller! Yes I know there are no ornaments on my tree the kids didn't think they needed them so everything withing reach was thrown around the house.

The Clipo table, barn, and teapot were the hits! Oh notice the jammie pants (I spent all day Christmas Eve sewing them up I wanted to do flannel but the pattern I used turned out really bad so they are fleece and should work great as diaper covers too!)

Levi lining up his new cars - very typical of him LOL

Drinking "hot chocolate and soup" from the mugs.

This Christmas we spent at home but we had lots of time for the kids to play with some cousins and Matt and his brother enjoyed the new wii they got and we brought some of our games.

Christmas Eve we went over to Matt's brother's house after dinner and we let the kids play for a little while but then we had a very nice lesson on how we couldn't have Christmas without having Easter also and the true meaning of Christmas. Scriptures were read in the Old Testament (Isaiah) and in the Book of Mormon (1 Nephi) and of course the New Testament (Luke 2). There were even some Messiah songs mixed in there and it was a great reminder of Jesus Christ and all that he has done for us.

Christmas was small but there were still presents (I don't know what I would have done if my parents hadn't helped us out a little). After opening presents we let Reah take a nap and then headed over to Matt's brother's again. I felt like all I did was try to keep the kids out of the Christmas tree LOL. One ornament didn't survive Levi throwing it and squeezing it in his hand. Our ornaments are shatterproof so he wasn't used to the glass (breakable) ornaments.
