Levi is going through a not talking phase (Reah gets what she wants by not talking) and it drives me crazy. Last week he wouldn't tell us what he wanted (even though I could tell by his actions that he wanted to eat) and just whined or fake cried. After a while of this, I put him in his chair but he still wouldn't stop so I told him if he wanted to be a baby and not tell me what he wanted he could eat some baby food. Then I gave him the choice of baby food or "big boy food" so after fake crying he finally said "baby food" and that is what he got. The worst kind we had too so it wasn't fun for him. The first bite he had the most disgusted expression on his face but he swallowed the peas then refused to eat any more of it. He finally told us that he wanted the big boy food with broccoli trees in it. He wants to sleep in the crib all the time and says that is his "big boy bed" and there is a huge meltdown when he doesn't get to eat in the high chair and has to sit in the booster chair at the table. I'm going to remedy that though because as soon as my table gets cleaned off and the high chair gets deep cleaned it is going into the storage room and the kids will sit in the 2 booster seats at the table. The baby stuff was last week though. This week Levi's new "thing" is saying the phrase "No wanna do it" like they typical 2 year old. I'm trying to pick and choose the battles but it gets said at least a million times a day and about everything LOL.
Levi has started saying prayers by himself though it is usually "Heavenly Fadder, thank for friends, thank for gospel, thank for family, bless Grandma and Grandpa (this is usually yelled), bless Wabi (Levi) and Reah, bless missionaries." At this point he gets stuck and starts to repeat the stuff he has already said if Matt or I don't "help" him finish. Reah also knows what to do for prayers she tries to fold her arms but it is usually her hands crossed at the wrists in front of her.
Reah still surprises me with the things she does. She carries around a baby doll and her little blankie and a sippy cup if she can get all of it in her arms and just walks around the house. I really haven't counted how many words she says but there are a lot and new ones every day that she picks up. Her sentences are still 2 words like "hi Daddy" and she practices her signs all the time too. She loves the magna doodle and loves to scribble on it she calls it "circle" but it sounds like gircle. She loves to tease her brother too. She will take his toys and run away while he cries and sometimes chases her. I guess that makes up for her "tattle cry" she has had since she was old enough to get around. If Levi pushes her down or takes her toys she lets out this loud cry and walks to me just to let me know.
I'm doing good. Today is ultrasound day so I'll tell everyone soon what this baby is if it cooperates.

Sounds like a lot of fun! Levi is still have issues with dethronement I see. That has to be hard. My friend down here is going to have a baby in April and her daughter is 8. I feel bad for her dethronement. I hope it gets better. If Reah naps, maybe you a Levi can do some special one on one time (unless he naps too). good luck!
Sorry about the fun two year old stage. I was wondering why kids have to go through all that and try everything to get their own way, but for Landon the need for independence and choices is starting to pay off. He is dressing himself, getting his own snacks, and even takes care of the baby when I shower. Anyway, hopefully all the struggles get easier soon!
